Dr Andrew Chandrapal BDS FCGDent DPDS(Bris) MClinDent(Pros)
Andrew works in private practice in Central London and Buckinghamshire where the basis of his special interests lie in aesthetics, composite bonding, complex rehabilitation including implants and management of tooth wear.
He holds a Distinction in Fixed and Removable Masters of Clinical Dentistry as well as two further academic diplomas. He is also a Graduate of the Kois Centre
Andrew also sits on Council for The DDU and is Past- President for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a post-graduate tutor for Kings College London and is on the editorial board for Dental Update and is Adjunct Professor in Conservative Dentistry at Saveetha College, Chennai. He is also an educator to other dentists on a national/ international level and is Director at IndigoDent Education.
Dr Jason Smithson BDS DRD RCS (Eng)
Qualified at the Royal London Hospital in1995, achieving several awards including The Constance Klein Memorial, The Stafford Millar, and The Malcolm Jenkins Scholarships, The American Association of Endodontics Prize, and the Overall Award for Clinical Dentistry.
After spending 3 years in oral surgery residency in London and a further year practicing restorative dentistry in London’s Harley Street Medical District, he relocated to Cornwall in the extreme southwest of England.
Jason practices at Revitalise, Cornwall, UK where his focus is microscope enhanced adhesive dentistry. His specific interest is direct composite resin artistry and minimally invasive all ceramic restorations and he has presented to dentists locally, nationally, and internationally (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Europe) on this topic. He has presented from undergraduate to master’s level at Universities (UNC, McGill, Barts and The London, Warwick, Universidad CES and Penisula) and prestigious international meetings including BACD, BAAD, AACD, AARD, SIDOC, BOS, BSOS, ADA and ADX.
Jason is owner of Oral Alchemy Dental Seminars and partner in The Restorative Programme, delivering innovative education internationally. He also serves as a European Key Opinion Leader for Kulzer, Resident Faculty at The Centre for Esthetic Excellence, and an Accredited International Trainer for Carl Zeiss Dental Academy.
Jason is the only European Resident Faculty at Spear Education AZ USA, where he is responsible for The Composite Program. Jason has achieved Diplomat Status in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (England). He is on the Editorial Board of The Russian Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and the UK-based “Private Dentistry” Journal and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on adhesive and aesthetic dentistry in both the UK and abroad.
He is joint author of “Vertical Margin Finish Lines in Fixed Prosthodontics” (EDRA) published in English, Italian and Japanese. Jason is Past-President and Founder of the British Association of Private Dentistry.

Capt John Tye – Guest Speaker
John retired as a B777 Training Captain with British Airways in December 2022 having started his aviation career over 46 years earlier, straight from school as a junior clerk.
After several ground based jobs he gained his commercial pilot’s licence in 1987 and went to fly for a charter airline, Dan Air. Two years later John returned to BA and flew the original B747 ‘Classic’ for nine years.
Concorde was John’s ultimate ambition and that dream eventually came true in 1998, when he became one of only 134 pilots to fly the world’s only supersonic airliner. When Concorde was grounded in 2000, John became a training captain on the shorthaul Airbus fleet and then transferred back to the global operation as a training captain on the
B777 in 2007 for the last fifteen years of his ‘privileged career.’
John’s best-selling and highly acclaimed memoir, ‘Life of A Concorde Pilot – From The Orphanage to The Edge of Space,’ takes the reader on an inspirational, moving and amusing journey through his life and concentrating on the pinnacle of his career as a Concorde Pilot.
Dr Christopher Orr – Moderator
Dr Christopher Orr is one of the UK’s most prominent cosmetic dentists, who practices cosmetic and restorative dentistry in his multidisciplinary clinic in central London. He is an Accredited Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and also a Certified Member of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry.
